Quality Improvement

CHP promotes Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) processes to improve patient care, clinical management, and to uphold regulatory compliance through our TPA services.  Our previous experience in providing direct care to criminal justice individuals allows us to assist in problem solving and recognizing quality concerns within the institutions.   The CQI program monitors and provides tools for improving care.

We monitor ER send-outs, specialty care quality concerns, hospital quality concerns, tracking and analyzing data around specific diagnoses and/or disease states.  We track quality issues with our internal data, and for some clients we actively participate in their programmed quality committees.

The goal of CQI is to ensure staff deliver healthcare services that are safe, appropriate, and defensible.
